Our story

In 2010, Jovianka brought her dream to life with the opening of Posada Para Mira in Rincon—Bonaire’s oldest town. She envisioned more than a restaurant; she created a warm, welcoming haven where authentic island flavors take center stage. Signature dishes like tender stewed goat and freshly caught fish quickly captured hearts, turning the eatery into a gathering place filled with laughter, stories, and shared memories. Locals and visitors alike come together here to discover Bonaire’s culinary treasures, savoring plates steeped in history and prepared with Jovianka’s deep respect for the island’s traditions.

Our roots run deep—and so does our heartfelt hospitality. The menu celebrates bold, local flavors, from stewed chicken and goat to fresh fish and even iguana, all served with traditional sides like funchi, tutu, or rice. Complete your meal with sweet potatoes, pumpkin, or fried plantain. Quench your thirst with our refreshing homemade lemon or tamarind juices, or add a little sparkle with our lively sangria.

Posada welcomes guests of all ages, and our restaurant is fully wheelchair accessible.
Join us from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, almost every day—except Tuesdays and Thursdays, when we take a short pause to recharge.
