Our (hi)STORY
In 2010, Jovianka launched Posada Para Mira in Rincon, Bonaire's oldest town. Her vision was a haven where local flavours stole hearts through delicious dishes like stewed goat and fresh fish. The eatery became a sanctuary, echoing laughter and stories shared by locals and international guests discovering Bonaire's culinary gems. Amid breathtaking views, guests connected over plates rich in history, woven with Jovianka's dedication to preserving the island's essence.
Our roots go deep, just like our genuine welcome to each and every visitor. Our menu is bursting with flavorful local dishes—think stewed chicken, goat, fresh fish, and even iguana, all paired with funchi, tutu, or rice. And don't miss our sides of sweet potatoes, pumpkin, and fried plantain! Our homemade lemon and tamarind juices are local favorites. Feeling adventurous? Give our spirited sangria a try—it's got that perfect kick! Dive into something new from our menu, just like the locals do.
Posada embraces guests of all ages, and our restaurant is wheelchair accessible. We're committed to making your visit to our small, vibrant island as comfortable as possible. We're here almost every day, from 11 am to 6 pm, except for our breather days on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Come to Posada for a true taste of local cuisine, lively live music, and views that will steal your heart.
Welcome to Bonaire, welcome to our cozy home,
